About
The raspberry, just like the blackberry, is called an "aggregate fruit" because it is composed of a cluster of tiny fruits, or druplets, surrounding a central core. Most cultivated raspberries are red, but there are also varieties in yellow, apricot, amber, and purple (or "black"), all similar in flavor and texture.
